3. I Love Leandro Erlich's 'Swimming Pool' works.
"Elrich has constructed a full-size pool, complete with all its trappings, including a deck and a ladder. When seen from the deck, the pool appears to be filled with deep, shimmering water. In fact, a layer of water only some 10 cms deep is suspended over transparent glass. Below the glass is an empty space with aquamarine walls that views can enter.
The Swimming Pool might hence be considered a place where, slowly, with time, different perspectives and perceptions of self and others all come to intersect."
These fake swimming pools were installed at the PS1 Art Center in New York and the 21st Century Art Museum in Kanazawa, Japan.

4. I Love the Private Moon project.
"Russian artists Leonid Tishkov and Boris Bendikov created a fantastic world illuminated with the moonlight where they tried to convey relations between the man and the Moon. This is a romantic story about a man who met the Moon and decided to stay with it forever. They named the installation 'Private Moon'."

5. I Love the History Channel Worldwide Brand Campaign "Know Where You Stand".
"Seth Tara has shot an inspiring series for the History Channel entitled 'Know Where You Stand'. The set depicts modern people revisiting historic landmarks, with a black and white layer from the past."

7. I Love these eco-friendly food shelves.
"Korean designer Jihyum Ryou has created a series of stylish and eco-friendly shelves for storing food freshly outside of the fridge. The project was dubbed 'Save Food From The Fridge' and is a bit of a statement on the overuse of energy and waste of food in the western world. Returning to simple science and age-old techniques, the shelves act as a vehicle for implementing a little bit of the past into our modern lives while being environmentally friendly."

10. I Love this quote about reading a book :
"A book is the only place in which you can examine a fragile thought without breaking it, or explore an explosive idea without fear it will go off in your face. It is one of the few havens remaining where a man's mind can get both provocation and privacy."
(Edward P. Morgan)

Lastly I Love how these words make me think and reflect :

A woman will always sacrifice herself if you give her the opportunity. It is her favorite form of self-indulgence.
(W. Somerset Maugham, The Circle, Act III)

"When two people meet, each one is changed by the other so you've got two new people."
(John Steinbeck)

- It is how we react in unhappy or hard times that truly define who we are.

- Some have been thought brave because they didn't have the courage to run away.

- The things you take for granted, someone else is praying for them.

- The desire of love is to give. The desire of lust is to get.

"Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power."

(Abraham Lincoln)

"Somebody should tell us, right at the start of our lives, that we are dying. Then we might live life to the limit, every minute of every day. Do it! I say. Whatever you want to do, do it now!"

5. This is so romantic :)
"A heart-shaped meadow, created by a farmer as a tribute to his late wife, can be seen from the air near Wickwar, South Gloucestershire. The point of the heart points towards Wotton Hill, where his wife was born."
Source : http://milktree.tumblr.com

6. I Love this stunning sculpture.
"Paige Bradley created one of the most striking sculptures I’ve seen in recent times. Her masterpiece, entitled Expansion, is a beautiful woman seeking inner piece but fractured and bleeding with light. “From the moment we are born, the world tends to have a container already built for us to fit inside: a social security number, a gender, a race, a profession,” says Bradley. “I ponder if we are more defined by the container we are in than what we are inside. Would we recognize ourselves if we could expand beyond our bodies?” "

7. I Love this quote about reading.
"Reading fiction not only develops our imagination and creativity, it gives us the skills to be alone. It gives us the ability to feel empathy for people we’ve never met, living lives we couldn’t possibly experience for ourselves, because the book puts us inside the character’s skin."
said by Anne Patchett.
Anne Patchett won the Orange Prize for Fiction and the PEN/Faulkner Award in 2002 for her novel Bel Canto.

8. I Love this quirky chair. Lol :-)

9. I Love this beautiful story...
"Former Disneyland mermaid, Edie, shares what it was like to don a tail and swim in the happiest place on earth:
Being a professional mermaid for Walt was nothing to take lightly.  The Productions Department measured us from hip to toe for neoprene tails, complete with large flukes, and green starfish bras.  We were taught to slither into the Submarine Lagoon from a hidden chamber and dolphin kick underwater to magically surface in the center of the pool.  There we sat on a rock and untangled our hair with immense blue and yellow plastic combs, and plucked ersatz lyres. We worked in shifts of two, and traded off hourly.

Each time a submarine passed, we dove underwater to frolic about, hang upside down by spinning our tails, and to wave at curious faces plastered against the portholes.  With practice we learned to smile without emitting bubble screens that would distort our faces into repulsive creatures from the deep.  For all this we were paid $1.85 an hour - a whopping net of $59.55 each week."

10. I Love this clever 'Lean Bookshelf' - designed to keep books upright.

This week I learnt that :

- Your heartbeat pattern changes and mimics the music you listen to.
- It's not so much what you say that counts, it's how you make people feel.
- If you want someone to listen to you, start the conversation with "I shouldn't be telling you this".
- According to studies, the more you talk about someone, the more you fall for them.

And.... lastly I Love these quotes :

"I found a book entitled, "How to Be Amazing at Anything."
It has only a single page inside and was just one word long :
PRACTICE"
@Writergram

"Blessed are the weird people - poets, misfits, writers, mystics, painters, troubadours - for they teach us to see the world through different eyes."
(Jacob Nordby)

"We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life, when all we need to make us really happy is something to be enthusiastic about."
(Charles Kingsley)

"The whole of life is just like watching a film. Only, it's as though you always get in ten  minutes after the big picture has started, and no-one will tell you the plot, so you have to work it out all yourself from the clues."
('Moving Pictures' by Terry Pratchett)

“So interesting how life can be so confusing and beautifully put together at the same time.”
-Mario

Until next week :)

Weekly Diary : What I love this week

"Too many of us are hung up on what we don't have, can't have, or won't ever have. We spend too much energy being down, when we could use that same energy - if not less of it - doing, or at least trying to do, some of the things we really want to do"
Terry McMillan

I'd love to one day have a tree house :)

Dear Future Lover,

"Dear future lover,
I hope our love is the kind that I don't even have to think about. I hope I never have to convince myself to love certain part of you because I hope it all comes naturally. I hope our love is the kind that is quiet on the outside but loud on the inside. I want to love you like the space between lightning and thunder - electrified and alive but silent and knowing. And I want you to love me like the clouds love the rain. You're going to have to let me go on my own sometimes, but I will always come back and we will always be two parts of the same thing."

My favourite quotes on LOVE

“We must fight against
half lives, broken promises,
ordinary love.”
— Daily Haiku on Love by Tyler Knott Gregson

“I wish I’d done everything on Earth with you.”
— F. Scott Fitzgerald

"Nobody loves a woman because she is handsome or ugly, stupid or intelligent. We love because we love."
— Honore de Balzac

“Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won’t either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their sweetness. Tell yourself you tasted as many as you could.”
— Louise Erdrich

“I held my breath as we do sometimes to stop time when something wonderful has touched us...”
― Mary Oliver, New and Selected Poems, Vol. 2

It's very telling that no matter how much you love someone, you always love them more when you see them asleep.

“To feel the love of people whom we love is a fire that feeds our life.”
— Pablo Neruda

“He loved her, of course, but better than that, he chose her, day after day. Choice: that was the thing.”
— The Toughest Indian in the World by Sherman Alexie

“How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.”
— Oscar Wilde

“It doesn’t matter who you fall in love with, as long as you have love in your life.”
— Laurel Holloman

“It is better to lose your pride with someone you love rather than to lose that someone you love with your useless pride.”

My life is not perfect, but every moment by your side is.

“What kills love? Only this: neglect.”
— Gut Symmetries, Jeanette Winterson

“I hunger for your taste, your smell, the feel of your soul touching mine.”
— Jack Llawayllyn

“There was a time when mapmakers named the places they travelled through with the names of lovers rather than their own.”
— Michael Ondaatje, The English Patient

“That night when you kissed me, I left a poem in your mouth, and you can hear some of the lines every time you breathe out.”
— Andrea Gibson, Yarn

Whatever happens tomorrow, we've had today.

“I don’t want to live. I want to love first, and live incidentally.”
— Zelda Fitzgerald

"It feels good to think about you when I’m warm in bed. I feel as if you’re curled up there beside me, fast asleep. And I think how great it would be if it were true."
— Haruki Murakami, Norwegian Wood

"I realized these were all the snapshots which our children would look at someday with wonder, thinking their parents had lived smooth, well-ordered lives and got up in the morning to walk proudly on the sidewalks of life, never dreaming the raggedy madness and riot of our actual lives, our actual night, the hell of it, the senseless emptiness."
― Jack Kerouac, On the Road

Yet I share John Mayer's fear:
Sometimes I’m scared I’ll find my soul mate, and they’ll want nothing to do with me.

"The point about love, the essential point, was that we loved what we loved. We did not choose. We just loved."
-Alexander McCall Smith

“Love is a striking example of how little reality means to us.”
— Marcel Proust
“If I knew that today would be the last time I’d see you, I would hug you tight and pray the Lord be the keeper of your soul. If I knew that this would be the last time you pass through this door, I’d embrace you, kiss you, and call you back for one more. If I knew that this would be the last time I would hear your voice, I’d take hold of each word to be able to hear it over and over again. If I knew this is the last time I see you, I’d tell you I love you, and would not just assume foolishly you know it already.”
— Gabriel Garcia Marquez
“One of the great joys of falling in love is the feeling that the most extraordinary person in the entire world has chosen you.”
— Gretchen Rubin, The Happiness Project

"You cannot save people, you can only love them.”
— Anaïs Nin

"You gave me a forever within the numbered days, and I'm grateful."
—The Fault in our Stars, John Green

I love this quote about work:
“Try to develop steady work habits, maybe a more modest quota, but keep to it. Don’t be thin-skinned or easily discouraged because it’s an odds-long proposition; all of the arts are. Many are called, few are chosen, but it might be you.”
— John Updike

I love this science ad.

I love all these facts about brain.

I love what Pat Conroy (author) said about books/reading.
-I can’t pass a bookstore without slipping inside, looking for the next book that will burn my hand when I touch its jacket, or hand me over a promissory note of such immense power that it contains the formula that will change everything about me.
-I trust the great novelists to teach me how to live, how to feel, how to love and hate. I trust them to show me the dangers I will encounter on the road as I stagger on my own troubled passage through the complicated life of books that try to teach me how to die.

I love these quotes :
“You were unsure which pain is worse — the shock of what happened or the ache for what never will.”
— Simon Van Booy, Everything Beautiful Began After

“It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important.”
— Antoine de Saint-Exupery

“In the end, what you do isn't going to be nearly as interesting or important as who you do it with.”
— John Green

This week I learnt that :
-Timing significantly influences love. Individuals are more likely to fall in love if they are looking for adventure, craving to leave home, lonely, displaced in a foreign country, passing into a new stage of life, or financially and psychologically ready to share themselves or start a family.
(Source: Helen Fisher, Anatomy of Love.)
-We met people for a reason. Either they are a blessing or a lesson.
-Once you've accepted your flaws, no one can use them against you.

Amazing moments :
-Holding hands
-Unexpected moments that become your favourite memories
-Resting on someone's chest
-Realising everything is going to be okay

And lastly lastly I love :
- The cold side of the pillow
- The sound when you open a can of Coke
- Finding money
- Compliment from strangers

Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

Repeat after me :
I am enough.
