AFTERNOON TEA

@ Sofitel Wentworth Sydney.
MENU:
-Sweets Raspberry Opera Slice(Chocolate pastry with layers of almond biscuit, raspberry ganache, soaked with framboise liqueur, garnished with fresh raspberries),
-Pistachio Macaroons (Soft almond meringue infused with pistachio oil, filled with pistachio ganache),
-Wentworth Cheese Cake (The original recipe since the inceptions of Afternoon Tea at the Wentworth. A light jocund pastry layered with cream and cream cheese),
-Chocolate Éclairs (Freshly baked choux pastry filled with Belgium chocolate mousse, glazed with dark chocolate),
-Peach Meringue Tart (Sweet tartlets filled with white peach curd, topped with scorched meringue)
-Scones Plain and Raisin Scones, served with double cream and strawberry jam.
-Sandwiches:
-Chicken, Preserved Lemon and Almond Sandwich,
-Smoked Tasmanian Salmon, Rocket and Fried Caper on Brioche,
-Goat’s Cheese and Mushroom Profiteroles,
-Aged Brie, Cranberry and Cucumber on Mini Baguette.

My friend had the gluten-free choices so her tier and menu is different from mine ^^

The Victoria Room Tea Party cocktail (Serves 2 or 4) @ The Victoria Room.
Gin, Turkish apple tea, Salers Bergamot Liqueur, lemon juice and fresh cucumber slices served in a teapot for two or four to share.
This cocktail is absolutely a-a-a-a-amazing.
Victoria Room is awarded cocktail bar of the year 2012 from Time Out Magazine. They have large selections of cocktails which are interesting and delicious. Richly decorated in British-Raj style, this exotic dining room and cocktail bar exude bon-vivant chic.

Every Sunday an eclectic mix of local and international performance artists, dancers and musicians showcasing their unique talents and entertaining the diners from 6pm. The entertainment is complimentary and the artists change every Sunday (normally 6 acts per night). This ranges from acrobatic pole dancer, aerial artists, burlesque dancer, belly dancer, hula hoop dancer, magician to jazz singer & musician.
I absolutely love this place. And they serve the most beautiful and delectable Rose pannacotta with rose petal syrup.
